Boys Basketball Beats Ursuline

The Fighting Irish Boys Basketball Team traveled to Ursuline High School on Tuesday, February 17th, for a key late-season matchup. The Irish entered the contest at 11-9, while Ursuline came in with a 16-4 record.

St. Vincent–St. Mary set the tone early, jumping out to a 12-9 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Irish continued to build momentum in the second, battling on both ends of the floor to take a 26-19 advantage into halftime.

The Irish maintained control throughout the second half to secure a 61-48 victory. With the win, the Fighting Irish improve to 12-9 on the season.

St. Vincent–St. Mary will close out the regular season on Thursday, February 19th, against Canton Central Catholic High School. Senior Night festivities will take place prior to the varsity contest.

Freshmen will take on St. Edward High School at 4:15 PM, followed by JV at 5:30 PM and varsity at 7:00 PM.
