Girls Basketball Lose a Close Game to Brush

The Fighting Irish Girls Basketball team dropped a hard-fought contest in a high-level matchup on Wednesday, January 21. The evening began on a high note as the Irish junior varsity squad earned a dominant 61–14 victory.

In the varsity game, the Irish faced early adversity and played from behind for much of the contest but continued to battle until the final buzzer. The Irish fell 56–48, moving their season record to a strong 12–4.

The Girls Basketball team returns to action on Saturday, January 24, with a road matchup at Strasburg High School. The junior varsity game is scheduled to tip off at 1:00 pm, followed by the varsity game at 2:30 pm.
