Congratulations to our Good Company Student-Athletes of the Week for January 23–31: Duke Clayton VM26 and Jackson Rodeman VM26!
Jackson delivered an outstanding performance at the Tomahawk Invitational on Saturday, January 24th. In the baker games, he was a true strike machine. Seven different times he followed a ninth-frame strike with a clutch strike in the tenth. Overall, Jackson struck on 12 of his 16 opportunities in the tenth frame, including nine frames with back-to-back strikes. His consistency and composure were key to a strong day for the Irish.
Duke and the STVM Wrestling team also had an impressive showing at the Archbishop Hoban Invitational, placing first overall as a team. Duke reached a major milestone in the semifinal, earning his 100th career victory. He carried that momentum into the final, securing his 101st win and capturing first place in his weight class—defeating the seventh-ranked wrestler in the state in the process.
Congratulations to Jackson and Duke on their outstanding accomplishments. Thank you for continuing to set the standard for excellence in Irish athletics. Go Irish!
