Irish Boys Basketball Falls to Lutheran East

The Fighting Irish Boys Basketball team fell to undefeated Lutheran East on Tuesday night, dropping a 78–55 decision. Despite the loss, the Irish move forward with an 8–7 record on the season.

Lutheran East controlled much of the game, jumping out to a 23–11 lead after the first quarter and extending the advantage to 39–23 by halftime. Junior Justin Robinson led the Irish offensively, finishing with a team-high 20 points.

The Boys look forward as they have their rivalry game this Friday, January 23rd against Archbishop Hoban High School at the University of Akron. Parking and ticketing details for that game can be found here. Doors open at 6:00pm with the game starting at 7:00pm. Go Irish!
