Seven Irish Wrestlers and Team Earn State Rankings Ahead of Postseason

As the postseason approaches, seven Irish wrestlers are ranked among the top 20 in their weight classes by Borofan Rankings, and the team currently holds the No. 8 spot overall in Division II. Full rankings can be found here.

Cole Palma (106) – 3rd Overall

Nolan DeShon (113) – 2nd Overall

Quinn Hurley (126) – 12th Overall

Taggart Wade (144) – 14th Overall

Duke Clayton (157) – 7th Overall

Rylan Hurley (165) – 7th Overall

Andrew Lowther (190) – 16th Overall

The wrestlers begin their postseason journey this Saturday, February 28, at the Sectional Tournament hosted at the LeBron James Arena. Competition begins at 9:30 AM. Come out and support your state-ranked Irish! Additional information for Saturday can be found here. Go Irish!
