Softball Extends Winning Streak to Three with Victory Over Northwest

The Fighting Irish Softball Team extended their win streak to three games with a win against Northwest on Tuesday, April 21st. With a final score of 7-4, the Irish controlled the game from start to finish to set their overall record to 8-8 on the season. 

The girls averaged a .400 hitting percentage highlighted by Mackenzie McFarland who had three runs and a double. Rhyan Johnson also had a standout performance with one run, one RBI, and one double.

On the mound, the Irish saw Kate Krabill pitch seven innings. She had two strikeouts during the game. She had a .286 OBA and a 4.00 ERA throughout the game. Full stats can be found here.

The girls look ahead to their next game against Manchester on Wednesday, April 22nd. They will play at Firestone Stadium – Pony Field with a start time of 5:00pm. Good luck ladies and Go Irish!
