Senior Mia Schmoekel Receives Second Team All-Tournament Honors
The Fighting Irish bowling teams competed at the Bruin Classic this past weekend, facing a strong field of competition. The boys’ team finished 14th overall, while the girls’ team placed 12th.
Senior Jackson Rodeman led the boys with a standout performance, posting a series score of 607 to pace the Irish.
On the girls’ side, senior Mia Schmoekel delivered an impressive showing, bowling a 507 series to earn a 10th-place individual finish. Her performance secured a spot on the All-Tournament Second Team, highlighting her strong weekend on the lanes.
Both the boys and girls teams return to action on Wednesday, January 14, when they face Akron North at Spins Bowl Akron. Competition is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. Go Irish!
