Boys Lacrosse Earns Big Win Against Elyria Catholic

The Fighting Irish Boys Lacrosse team earned an impressive 16–6 victory over Elyria Catholic on Monday, April 13th, showcasing a dominant performance from start to finish.

The Irish controlled the game from the opening whistle, fueled by a powerful offensive effort. Ryan Mostoller and Evan Huber led the way with five goals each, while Evan Kee, Judd Rothkopf, and John McCarron each added two goals to round out the scoring.

Defensively, the Irish were just as strong. Goalkeeper Charlie Rodriguez recorded 11 saves on 17 shots, allowing only six goals and anchoring a solid team effort on the defensive end. Full box score can be found here.

With the win, the Irish improve to 2–3 overall on the season.

Looking ahead, the team faces a busy stretch with three games remaining this week. The Irish will travel to West Geauga on Thursday, April 16th at 6:00 PM, return home for a rescheduled half against Benedictine at 5:30 PM, and close out the week with a full home matchup against Cardinal Mooney on Saturday at 11:00 AM.
