The Fighting Irish Boys Volleyball team extended their winning streak on Thursday, March 26 with a strong performance against Walsh Jesuit High School, earning a straight-set victory. The night began with a dominant 2-0 win from the JV squad, setting the tone for Varsity, which followed with a sweep of the Warriors at home to improve to 5-3 on the season.
Leading the way for the Irish was junior libero/setter Moo Thaw, who earned Team MVP honors after recording 28 assists in the match and orchestrating the offense in the sweep.
The Irish now turn their focus to a busy weekend at the CCL Challenge. The JV team will compete at Bishop Watterson High School, while the Varsity squad heads to St. Charles Preparatory School. Both teams will face strong competition from programs including Archbishop Carroll High School, Archbishop McNicholas High School, Bishop Hartley High School, Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School, and St. Francis DeSales High School.
Good luck to both squads this weekend and Go Irish!
