The Fighting Irish Boys Volleyball team extended its winning streak to six with a strong performance against Mayfield on Tuesday, April 1st. The Irish came out firing, dominating the first two sets by scores of 25-13 and 25-9.
The third set proved to be a battle, as the Irish and Wildcats traded points in a tightly contested matchup. In the end, the Irish held their composure and secured the set 28-26 to complete the sweep and improve to 8-3 on the season.
The Irish now turn their attention to a busy stretch of games this week. They will host Louisville on Wednesday, April 1st in LeBron James Arena, with JV starting at 5:30 PM and Varsity at 6:30 PM. They will then face Stow on Thursday, April 2nd, with JV again at 5:30 PM and Varsity at 6:30 PM.
