Seniors Caitrin Coyle and Rylee Hoover represented the Fighting Irish in outstanding fashion at the OHSAA Girls Golf Sectional Tournament on Wednesday, October 1st, held at Fox Den Golf Course in Stow.
Both golfers turned in impressive performances. Coyle carded a strong round of 77, while Hoover followed closely with a steady 84. Their efforts earned each of them a spot in the upcoming OHSAA District Tournament, a major accomplishment for both athletes and for the Irish program.
The District Tournament will take place at Tanglewood Golf Club in Chagrin Falls on Tuesday, October 7th, where the competition will be fierce as golfers battle for a chance to move on to the State Tournament.
A big congratulations goes out to both Rylee and Caitrin for their achievements and for proudly representing St. Vincent-St. Mary on the postseason stage. Best of luck to them as they compete next week—Go Irish!
