This past weekend, three Fighting Irish bowlers represented the program at the Ohio High School Athletic Association District Bowling Tournament, competing against some of the top athletes in the region.
On Sunday, February 22, Matthew Kalail VM28 and Nathan Sparhawk VM26 took to the lanes for the boys competition. Sparhawk recorded an impressive 512 series, highlighted by games of 171, 119, and 222. Close behind, Kalail finished with a 510 series, posting scores of 195, 182, and 133 in a strong overall performance.
Mia Schmoekel VM26 competed in the girls district tournament on Monday, February 23, facing a highly competitive field. She delivered a solid 487 series with games of 171, 171, and 145.
