The Fighting Irish Girls Lacrosse team suffered its first loss of the season on Thursday, April 9th, falling to Allentown High School (NJ). The defeat moves the Irish to 5-1 on the year.
Allentown controlled the contest from start to finish, earning a 15-1 victory behind strong offensive production and a disciplined defensive effort. The Irish broke through with a goal in the final minutes, but were unable to generate enough momentum to close the gap.
The Irish will conclude their Florida trip with a matchup against IMG Academy on Friday, April 10th. Faceoff is set for 10:00 AM in Orlando. Upon returning to Ohio, they will host Hawken High School on Tuesday, April 14th, with JV beginning at 5:30 PM and Varsity to follow at 7:00 PM.
