Sydney Ferguson VM28 has earned an incredible opportunity on the national stage, receiving an invitation to attend the USA Basketball Women’s U18 National Team Trials in Colorado Springs, Colorado from May 29 through June 1.
The prestigious invitation places Ferguson among the top high school basketball players in the country as she competes alongside elite talent from across the nation for a chance to represent Team USA on the international level.
The trials, hosted at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, will feature some of the nation’s top underclassmen competing in front of USA Basketball evaluators and coaches. Athletes selected from the trials will go on to represent the United States in international competition this summer.
Her achievement not only highlights her individual success, but also reflects the continued growth and excellence of the Fighting Irish girls basketball program.
